We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's Melbourne team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing strong business relationships across the VIC region within the International Freight channels.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities in Sea Freight and Air Freight logistics. You will be responsible for building and developing new and existing business relationships to grow your pipeline and achieve/exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure new business opportunities in Sea Freight and Air Freight logistics.
- Build and develop new and existing business relationships to grow your pipeline and achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Lead and develop Business Plans across all accounts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accounts are managed appropriately.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects that matches the company's strategies.
- Complete sales reports and other administration tasks where required.
- 5 years plus experience in Key Accounts or Business Development within the Transport industry.
- Analytical problem solver who brings value-add solutions to customers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer relationship skills.
- Exceptional negotiating skills and an excellent communicator.
