About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our Resource & Industrial division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
  • Identify revenue and margin optimisation opportunities, including the pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop effective strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding the client base.
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts with high-value clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions are achieved for both parties.
  • Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms and addressing any deviations or issues.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract accuracy and mitigate potential risks.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Analyse data, market trends, and client feedback to identify areas for value creation and optimise business performance.
  • Develop pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness while maximising profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and corporate teams.

Skills and Qualifications

  • CA, MBA, or CPA qualified
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
