Academic & Wellbeing Intervention Role

This is a meaningful opportunity for an educator who is committed to enhancing student outcomes and supporting student wellbeing.

The Academic and Wellbeing Intervention Educator will provide targeted literacy and numeracy support for students who require additional assistance, as well as working collaboratively with our established wellbeing team to facilitate and support mental health initiatives within the primary school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted small-group and individual interventions for emerging mental health and behavioural needs in line with PB4L Tier 2 supports.
  • Plan, deliver and assess an intervention program which extends students' engagement and achievement, and accurately report on achievements.
  • Provide targeted small-group and individual interventions to support students requiring additional assistance in literacy and numeracy across Primary and Secondary.
  • Support whole-school wellbeing and resilience through proactive, evidence-based strategies aligned with PB4L Tier 1 practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education
  • VIT Registered Teacher
  • Willingness to work across both Heritage College campuses
