Are you looking for a challenging role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in early childhood education? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our childcare centres across South Australia, with a maximum of 5 centres in their portfolio. This role is fast-paced and requires excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, support and nurture Centre Managers and their teams
  • Monitor and support educational leaders and nominated supervisors around the National Quality framework and early years learning framework
  • Monitor maintenance and networking with legislative bodies
  • Oversee strategic plans for each Service
  • Lead and mentor Centre Managers and staff
  • Recruit Centre Managers and Key Centre Staff
  • Ensure Centre Managers build strong relationships with families through effective CRM utilisation and other communication and engagement strategies
  • Work with the marketing team to drive strong occupancy and positive word of mouth
  • Manage Service performance including financial performance
  • Centre Audits

Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Kindness, Empathy, A can-do attitude & respect
  • Experience in multi-site management including compliance and reporting
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering to a quality and safety agenda
  • Knowledge and implementation of the NQF and EYLF
  • Experience managing budgets and staffing requirements
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing and management skills
  • Strong computer skills including Kidsoft, CCSS, ISS, CRM tools
  • First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
  • Police Check and Working with Children's check
