Job Opportunity

This role is focused on leading the alignment, influence and delivery of strategic security outcomes across various subsidiaries and relevant security programs.

  • Lead and manage security concerns, directing workload management, career progression & mentoring; and coordinate work to deliver strategic security objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including NAB Group Security, for consumption of shared services.
  • Provide guidance and leadership in developing team capabilities, ensuring a high level of security awareness and responsibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate trade-offs between achieving business value versus adhering to architectural guardrails and risk management obligations.
  • Communicate strategic themes and key business drivers for security to various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in security leadership along with expertise in developing or running agile practices within large organisations with regulatory constraints.
  • Proven experience in implementing security in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Expertise in cloud security, particularly with AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, risk management, and compliance.
  • Ability to foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility, working collaboratively with business stakeholders and complex business issues.
  • Proven track record of delivering security outcomes in a technology-driven environment.
