Senior Knowledge Lawyer Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Legal Excellence & Risk team as a Senior Knowledge Lawyer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing precedents and projects plans for the national Commercial practice groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement precedents and projects plans;
  • Facilitate development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements;
  • Draft and maintain precedents;
  • Ensure style guide compliance;
  • Work cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms;
  • Conduct file audits in conjunction with the Risk team;
  • Write key matter summaries for business development purposes;
  • Maintain awareness of legislative and case law changes and provide regular updates to the Commercial practice groups;
  • Prepare and deliver legal educational training programs;
  • Deliver style, precedents and writing training to the firm.
About You:
  • Minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law;
  • Strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance;
  • Advanced document drafting and contract review skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Able to prioritise and project manage autonomously;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Keen interest and experience in delivering training programs.
