Job Overview:

1000heads is a social transformation company that helps global brands adapt to rapid and continual shifts in media, technology, and culture. We deliver social-first data, insights, strategic consultancy, and creative services to clients around the world.

We're looking for a Senior Creative who can lead our Japanese market efforts and collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to craft innovative, culturally relevant, and commercially successful campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop high-quality creative work, including pitches, campaigns, and RFP documents, that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Work closely with our Japan-based team and our Australia-based leadership team to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior creatives, fostering a culture of curiosity, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media platforms, and emerging technologies to inform our creative strategies and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese
  • In-depth understanding of the Japanese market, including its cultural nuances and consumer behaviors.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a creative, art direction, or design-focused role, preferably within an agency environment.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing exceptional presentation design, conceptual strength, and brand storytelling.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Slides, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and cultural trends.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven creative tools and a passion for integrating emerging technologies into creative workflows.
  • Superior visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and defend concepts to internal teams and clients.
