About Us

We're seeking diligent and proactive maintenance professionals to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at Annandale Campus, with potential opportunities at North Ward.

Our campuses are renowned for their beautifully maintained grounds, welcoming atmosphere, and high standards of care and presentation. The Maintenance Assistants play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining buildings, ensuring they remain safe and secure
  • Relocating furniture and equipment as needed
  • Maintaining lawns, gardens, and school surroundings using appropriate tools and machinery
  • Performing general upkeep tasks, including cleaning hard surfaces and outdoor areas
  • Daily collection of rubbish and waste management
  • Reporting maintenance issues, vandalism, or damage promptly
  • Supporting safe work practices in line with school policies and WHS standards
  • Providing assistance with campus support across all school campuses when required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Adequate physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
  • Experience using hand tools, green-keeping equipment, and small power tools
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles
  • A proactive and reliable attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A current Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one)

Candidates must hold a valid Working with Children Paid Employee Blue Card prior to commencement.
