Clinical Behaviour Support Specialist

We are currently looking for experienced Clinical Behaviour Support specialists to work with highly regarded providers across Melbourne, ideally at Proficient or Advanced level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial behaviour assessments of clients with complex needs, using evidence-based methods to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop, update or review Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) to ensure best outcomes for clients, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Work closely with families and carers to support clients' needs, fostering strong relationships and promoting client-centred care.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to support clients, utilising a range of strategies and techniques to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other allied health professionals as required, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimal client outcomes.
  • Manage mixed caseloads across children and adults, prioritising tasks and managing time effectively to meet demands.

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist, with a strong foundation in clinical practice andBehaviour Support principles.
  • Experience in BSP development and implementation, preferably at Proficient level or above, with a proven track record of achieving positive client outcomes.
  • Extensive clinical experience in the NDIS space considered, with a deep understanding of disability support and services.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and valid VIC Driving Licence.
