Role Overview
Principal Consultant - Data and AnalyticsThis position involves working with clients to gather requirements and business rules, leading technical architecture and delivery for new data platforms, providing thought leadership on data profiling and integration recommendations, and performing performance tuning and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage development life cycle using various source code management tools.
- Lead the design and delivery of a new data platform.
- Provide overall thought leadership to clients regarding data profiling and integration recommendations.
- Data modelling (relational and dimensional like star schema and Snowflake schema).
Qualifications
Requirements:- Advanced data modelling skills (Star schema, Snowflake schema, data vault).
- Proven track-record of building enterprise data warehouses.
- Advanced ETL/ELT processes design and implementation.
- Strong skills in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS & GCP.
- Extensive knowledge of Databricks architecture and features.
- Experience in data ingestion tools such as Apache Kafka, Informatica, AWS Glue, Azure Event Hubs, Fivetran, Matillion, DBT and Coalesce.
- Experience in Apache Airflow.
