Job Overview

The Queensland Department of Education seeks a Senior Infrastructure Services Officer to support the governance and delivery of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Design, Construct and Maintain (DCM) agreements.

This role requires someone who can engage directly with schools and work with private facilities management operators to track, assess and manage works, risks and performance.

About the Role
  • Manage and monitor operational and contractual obligations, including financial and asset management activities.
  • Provide timely, accurate and practical advice to stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing clear, high-quality project information, reports, briefings and correspondence.

The successful applicant will be required to hold a current Working with Children Clearance issued by relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and manage operational and contractual obligations to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
  2. Provide expert advice to stakeholders on infrastructure management best practices.
  3. Develop and maintain accurate records of projects, tasks, and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
