Job Overview

The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of a high-speed printing press to produce and convert raw materials into finished printed products.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Adjust print quality by optimizing machine settings, utilizing precision tools, and adhering to established protocols.
  2. Carefully inspect printed products for clarity, accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality control standards.
  3. Analyze job orders to determine production details, such as quantities, times, stock specifications, colors, and sequences, facilitating seamless workflow execution.
  4. Install printing plates, dies, and cylinders in machines according to precise specifications, guaranteeing optimal performance.
  5. Maintain specified operating levels, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments to prevent downtime and ensure continuous productivity.
  6. Operate equipment at required speeds to achieve proper ink coverage, alignment, and registration, resulting in high-quality printed products.
  7. Clean and lubricate presses and components using specialized chemicals, brushes, and rags, ensuring prolonged machine lifespan.
  8. Evaluate and improve work processes within the production area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. 1-2 years of relevant experience in printing, including expertise with Mark Andy and Nilpeter Press machines.
  2. A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
