About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Midwifery Consultant to support our statewide clinical lead in helping clinicians review, embed and sustain preventive healthcare at a local level.
The ideal candidate will assist in developing and implementing a self-referral pathway for pregnancy care, including triage and referral to specific models of care.
They will contribute to building capacity and systems for vulnerable women, chronic disease management and future health risk screening of pregnant women in public antenatal care services across the state.
The successful applicant will also support and enhance intensive smoking/vaping cessation programs for pregnant women and their partners.
About You
- You must be currently registered through AHPRA.
- A Bachelor or Diploma of Midwifery or relevant postgraduate qualification is required.
- Endorsement for scheduled medicines for midwives with NMBA is highly desirable.
- Postgraduate qualification or current enrollment in a postgraduate program in a relevant area is highly desirable.
