As a Senior Test Analyst – Automation at HUB24, you'll play a vital role in uplifting the quality of our fintech platforms through thoughtful and innovative automation practices.
- Build and maintain scalable automation for UI, API, and data testing.
- Partner closely with developers, analysts, and product teams to ensure testable, high-quality outcomes.
- Design and optimise test plans, frameworks, and environments to support seamless delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues in test execution, reducing flakiness and improving reliability.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, collaboration, and shared learnings.
- Maintain clear documentation to support test traceability and knowledge sharing.
- Lead by example – mentoring others, fostering best practices, and championing a quality-first mindset.
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA to embed testing into CI/CD workflows.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing sessions to uplift QA capabilities across the team.
Requirements:
- A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field – or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience in backend test automation, ideally in fintech or financial systems.
- Comfortable working with tools like Postman, Playwright, Nutter, and databases like MongoDB and MS SQL.
- Confident scripting queries for data validation and supporting complex data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Exposure to caching technologies like DuckDB is beneficial.
