Project Officer

We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to join our team and contribute to the advancement of research activities across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting and developing research initiatives, leading and coordinating projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and coordinate research development activities, including the development, implementation, and governance of organisation-wide initiatives.
  • To manage and support the Institute's Internship Program, contributing to the development of future workforce capacity.
  • To maintain and enhance internal research systems and platforms to enable seamless access to information and tools.
  • To support grant administration, as required.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health, or health promotion, or equivalent relevant professional experience and training.
  • An understanding of the NSW and/or federal health system, including relevant trends, issues, policies, and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading research development activities, including the development, implementation, and governance of organisation-wide initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve project and organisational objectives.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to apply project management principles and techniques effectively to deliver complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
