We provide high-quality support services to people with disabilities in their homes and communities, enabling them to achieve life goals and contribute positively to society.

About the Role

You will build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing tailored support to help individuals with complex needs, Autism, and seizure management.

Key Responsibilities

- Foster effective partnerships with staff, management, participants, and families to drive positive outcomes.
- Assist participants in achieving independence through skill development and empowerment.
- Deliver regular and professional support aligned with participants' plans, needs, and desires.
- Facilitate access to social and community activities, promoting healthy lifestyles.
- Implement strategies to enhance skills, identify areas for additional support, and explore opportunities for goal achievement.

Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care (mandatory).
- Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate (mandatory).
- Experience working with clients with complex disabilities, Autism, and seizure management (preferred).
- National Police Check (mandatory).
- Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance (preferred but not essential).
- Manual handling experience (preferred).
- Administration of medication experience (preferred).
- Current CPR certification (annual).
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) (mandatory).
- Yellow Card/ NDIS Clearing (mandatory).

Additional Requirements

- Current Australian Driver's License (MUST).
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (mandatory).
- ABN and Public Liability Insurance (preferred).
