Centre Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Centre Supervisor at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) and Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool (CMSP). As a Centre Supervisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to staff on shift, ensuring a high level of customer service and adherence to service improvement standards.
- Act as an escalation point for resolving customer disputes and ensure staff operate in a manner that is in line with service improvement standards and employee expectations.
- Support frontline teams in actively supervising pools, patrons, and programs, and ensure the effective management of cash and reconciliation duties.
- Monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed to meet facility demand and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct plant management tasks, including water testing and dosing, as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to organisational values and behaviours.
- Considerable customer service experience, with a strong ability to resolve disputes and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high standards.
- Familiarity with the recreation industry and its programs and services would be well regarded.
- Previous experience in managing a complex roster and staff team is highly desirable.
- Current CPR, First Aid, Pool Lifeguard, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Pool Operators Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
