Guidewire Claims Centre Technical Business Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the technical business analyst field with Guidewire Claims Centre experience.

We are looking for a strong business analyst with technical skills and knowledge of Agile practices to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within a squad as part of the broader Guidewire platform
  • Build strong relationships through engagement with colleagues, stakeholders across Business and Technology
  • Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs
  • Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable
  • Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery
  • Mentor/train team members; participate and contribute to business analyst chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadership
About You:
  • Recent experience with Guidewire Claims Centre
  • Minimum 5 years technical business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role, from a large organisation
  • Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
