Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HV Electrician to join our maintenance team at Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting safe and efficient repairs and inspections on large-scale mining equipment, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of large-Scale Mobile Mining Equipment
  • Willingness to learn new disciplines and skills to ensure the incoming Green Fleet transition has a Maintenance team with Never Ever Give Up attitude and capability to grow with innovative technology
  • Workshop and pit duties as required
  • Work in conjunction with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance
  • Ensure FMG operations procedures and policies are followed
  • Adapting to innovative technologies
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant Australian-recognised trade certificate
  • HV switching ticket
  • Previous experience working in Mining
  • Mobile plant experience is essential. Electric HME experience and exposure are desirable
  • High regard for safety

Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of HV Electrical Systems
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
