About the Role

Parklife Metro is embarking on a transformative project connecting St Marys to the new Aerotropolis, a joint venture with Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild. This initiative aims to deliver 6 new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.

This $5 billion project will leave a lasting legacy for the Greater Western Sydney community, offering a unique opportunity to advance your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and executing corporate communications, community engagement, digital communications, and marketing activities.
  • Coordinate open days and events, pre-visits, and detailed run-sheets.
  • Support the coordination of approved site visits and media events, including providing site transport, inductions, and necessary safety equipment.
  • Participate in stakeholder and community meetings, the school engagement program, information sessions, and displays or events at the community information centre.
  • Attend meetings and prepare meeting records.
  • Assist in obtaining talent releases and safety approvals.
  • File approved digital assets.
  • Ensure tasks are delivered on time, in scope, and with the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to communication activities, including sourcing capable and cost-effective suppliers of goods and services, invoicing, procurement, printing, and filing.
  • Liaise with suppliers on behalf of team members.
  • Assist Place Managers to obtain relevant and timely project information from subject matter experts and prepare site-specific communication materials.
  • Assist with stakeholder and community engagement activities, including meetings, door-knocks, community and business forums, or onsite community events.
  • Prepare and respond to requests for information.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
Requirements
  • Recently completed a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Web Development, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Administration experience including marketing communications, website, and digital communications.
  • High level of computer literacy in the use of various software applications.
  • High level of creativity and initiative.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with the team, the client, and key stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others as part of a team and can work autonomously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively.
  • Willing to learn new skills, be flexible and adaptive.
