Paxus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join its dynamic data engineering team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-performance data models on cloud-based warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement and manage orchestration workflows for timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Design and develop effective data quality frameworks to ensure reliability and consistency.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Advanced expertise with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, cost optimization, and security.
  • Proficiency in Python or Scala programming languages.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow and Prefect.
