Mobile Mining Equipment Specialist

This role involves servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including Caterpillar tracked and ancillary equipment, Liebherr Excavators, and other ancillary equipment.
As a Heavy Diesel Fitter with Thiess, you will be responsible for performing routine servicing, repair, and maintenance of mobile mining equipment on multiple sites. Your key responsibilities include:
- Performing regular maintenance checks to prevent equipment breakdowns
- Advanced diagnostics to identify and fix equipment failures
- Machine overhauls and planned component changes
- Mobilisation of fleets into and between projects
Key requirements for this role include:
- A Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent qualification
- A valid Australian Drivers licence
- A valid Australian Citizenship or visa
- Post-trade experience in maintenance, diagnosis, component changeouts, and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
- A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic
