About This Role

We are seeking an experienced catering professional to join our team at St Johns, New Lambton. As a member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining services to our residents.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparing appetizing meals and beverages for residents in accordance with dietary requirements
  • Providing excellent customer service, including serving meals and assisting with meal preparation
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a diverse range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
