About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Meter Reader - Field Operations to join our team at Service Stream. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for accurately reading allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately read and record utility meter readings in accordance with established procedures.
- Uphold the Service Stream safety standards and publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional manner.
- Understand and ensure targets are met, including meeting deadlines and achieving productivity goals.
- Work independently, but also collaborate with other members of the team to achieve common objectives.
- Regularly communicate with office support team to ensure seamless operations.
- Upload and download route information to/from hand-held device.
Requirements
- Current valid driver's license.
- Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Ability to undertake plenty of walking, bending, and squatting.
- Ability to work in most weather conditions.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 30-38 hours per week.
- Flexible and comfortable with daily travel of up to, or more than, 45 minutes each way.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail.
