We are currently seeking a Senior Cyber Project Manager to join our Central Functions Line of Business. This position will be based at Melbourne or Adelaide and report directly to the Cyber Program Manager.

">Key Responsibilities Include:
  • End-to-end management of complicated & complex Cyber Security projects in accordance with our Digital, Data & Cyber Security (DDC) Project Management framework, including the application of project lifecycle methodology.
  • Support the Cyber Program Manager with long-term planning and financial strategy development.
  • Collaboratively develop business cases and estimate commitment for project resourcing.
  • Lead virtual project teams to ensure timely activity, integration and efficient use of time and resources to meet requirements.
  • Manage vendor engagement and procurement activities for project hardware, software and services.
  • Facilitate project steering committees and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Undertake organisational change management activities.
  • Establish appropriate key performance indicators and recommend trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost.
  • Actively manage project risk & opportunity, and develop strategies to mitigate or leverage.
  • Manage project finances within approved budgets.
  • Deliver project reporting in accordance with agreed timelines.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex Cyber Security projects (strong adjacent domain experience will be considered).
  • Degree, diploma, or proprietary certification in Project Management is highly desirable.
  • Ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure great project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading virtual teams in a matrixed organisation structure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
