We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Tyre Technician to join our team at the Gruyere operation in WA's north-eastern Goldfields.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tyre technician to work on a range of heavy machinery, including Terex MT 4400 and Komatsu 830E Trucks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of tyres on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fitting and removing tyres on various types of heavy machinery
  • Maintaining accurate records of tyre usage and maintenance
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites
  • A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/AUR21920)
  • A current WorkSafe forklift licence
  • An HR Drivers Licence
  • Possess a high level of initiative and ability to work well under pressure
  • An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously
