Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Clinician to join our team. The successful candidate will work with individuals, families and groups in regional and remote communities, providing evidence-based mental health interventions and managing a full client caseload.

The role requires strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention and care planning, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by rural and remote communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions
  • Manage a full client caseload, including intake, assessment and care coordination
  • Travel regularly to isolated communities to provide in-person support
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support client outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Mental Health Social Work, Psychology (generalist or clinical) or Credentialled Mental Health Nursing
  • Minimum five years of clinical experience supporting individuals across all age groups in mental health settings
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention and care planning
