We are seeking a skilled and diligent Concierge/Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our building during overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the safety and security of the building during overnight hours
  • Monitor and control the entry and exit of residents, guests, and visitors
  • Observe and respond to any suspicious activity through CCTV monitoring
  • Address noise complaints and disturbances in a calm and professional manner
  • Conduct hourly patrols of designated areas to maintain security standards
  • Enforce compliance with building by-laws and house rules
  • Provide concierge-style service, including general assistance to residents and guests
  • Maintain detailed duty logs, incident reports, and handovers
  • Liaise with emergency services as needed and follow approved protocols
  • Operate and manage building systems, including key control and fire panels
  • Co-ordinate mail rooms and parcel return policies

Requirements:

  • Able to work the required overnight hours and weekend shifts
  • Holds a current Victorian Private Security Licence
  • Fluent in English – both verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance
