Key Responsibilities
  • Network Engineering
  • We are looking for a Network Systems Engineer with expertise in designing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks and system environments to support business requirements.
  • This involves monitoring and testing network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively, installing, configuring, and managing servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and associated hardware/software.
  • The ideal candidate will provide technical support and advice to end-users, diagnosing and resolving network and system issues.
  • Security Management
  • We require a Network Systems Engineer to implement and maintain security systems including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
  • This role also involves undertaking system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data protection measures.
  • System Analysis
  • The successful candidate will analyse and document system requirements, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • They will also research and recommend upgrades or improvements to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
  • Liaison Work
  • This role requires the ability to liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients to deliver ICT solutions within deadlines.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • No less than three years' experience in network and systems engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Experience with virtualisation platforms, cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS), and server administration.
  • Familiarity with ICT security standards and backup/restore practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
