Senior Network Connection Specialist

The Team Lead Network Connections is responsible for leading a team of technical specialists and engineers in assessing and enabling new connections to the NSW transmission system. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and guide a high-performing team in a dynamic and evolving environment.
1. Leading technical assessments and negotiation of performance standards to achieve optimal outcomes for both projects and the network.
2. Leading investigation of wide-area system issues impacting generator connections and developing robust solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Supporting, motivating, and developing capability and potential in team members and driving a high-performance work culture.
4. Fostering a continuous improvement culture in the team to ensure team capabilities remain current, flexible, and aligned with evolving business and network needs.
Requirements:
Experience in leading technical teams and managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and achieving project goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead by example and foster a positive work culture.
