Data Solutions Project Manager

As a Data Solutions Project Manager, you will bridge external user needs with internal capabilities, aligning customer goals across national security and Defence interfaces with the Bureau's organisational and technical requirements.

About the Role

  • We seek a highly skilled project manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering integrated data solutions that meet customer needs and align with NSSP operations and the Bureau's strategic goals.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Bridging customer goals with Bureau capabilities to deliver integrated, fit-for-purpose data solutions.
    • Collaborating with project managers and leadership to deliver customer solutions aligned with NSSP operations and the Bureau's strategic goals.
    • Embedding governance, ensuring data security and compliance, and driving performance optimisation.
    • Leveraging proactive engagement to anticipate and accommodate future developments as data and technology evolve.
  • You will be responsible for embedding effective governance processes, ensuring data security and compliance, and driving performance optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • A qualification in project management is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in science and information technology projects is essential.
  • Candidates must have strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction is highly desirable.
