Senior Tax & Advisory Accountant

The role involves working with top-tier corporate tax clients, providing leading-edge tax business advisory services. You will be responsible for handling complex tax compliance matters, preparing financial statements, and identifying Div 7A, CGT, FBT, and GST issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle tax compliance for various entities, including corporations, trusts, and partnerships
  • Prepare financial statements for complex clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards
  • Identify and resolve Div 7A, CGT, FBT, and GST issues, minimizing risk and optimizing outcomes
  • Manage BAS preparation and lodgment, ensuring timely submission
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members, maintaining strong relationships

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified accountant with at least 3 years of experience in public practice tax and advisory
  • CA/CPA certification or close to completion
  • Experience in tax compliance for diverse entities, including complex financial statement preparation
  • Skilled in identifying Division 7A, CGT, and FBT matters, with a deep understanding of Australian taxation laws
  • Gold Coast residents preferred, but open to relocation
