SENIOR TAX & ADVISORY ACCOUNTANT - HYBRID /REMOTE MID-GOLD COAST - TOP TIER CORPORATE TAX CLIENTS $80 - $100K (Job ID 545)

THE COMPANY
Our client is one of the largest and longest established Chartered Accounting firms on the Gold Coast. After being formed by former Big 4 Partners, they have been providing leading-edge tax business advisory services for many decades to Gold Coast Big 4 and mid-tier style businesses and high net worth individuals.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant (CA or CPA certified or close to completion) with at least 3 years of experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier Australian firm, or from a high-quality boutique firm working with top-tier clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle tax compliance for various entities
  • Prepare financial statements for complex clients
  • Identify and resolve Div 7A, CGT, FBT, and GST issues
  • Manage BAS preparation and lodgment
  • Ensure accuracy in client deliverables
  • Independently prioritize workload and deadlines
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Degree-qualified accountant with 3+ years in public practice tax and advisory
  • CA/CPA completed or in progress
  • Experienced in tax compliance for diverse entities
  • Proficient in complex financial statement preparation and specialised financial reporting
  • Skilled in identifying Division 7A, CGT and FBT matters
  • Gold Coast residents (highly preferred)
