About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Claims Consultant to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a Travel Claims Consultant, you will play a key role in providing a cost-effective, professional, and customer-focused general insurance claims service relating to the processing of Travel Claims.

You will be responsible for undertaking end-to-end claims management of an interesting and unique portfolio of Motor Vehicle claims for an established client contract. This will involve providing a high-level customer service to all internal and external partners, assessing travel insurance claims with the application of policy wording and guidelines, raising payments and settling claims with client service instructions, company guidelines, and delegated authority, resolving complaints in accordance with company guidelines, and ensuring attention to detail with data integrity which directly correlates to GB's fee invoicing and the reconciliation of client bank accounts.

About You

We are looking for individuals who possess Australian Citizenship, travel claims handling or general claims management experience, passion and drive to take ownership of their own portfolio of claims, outstanding attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills, and excellent interpersonal, spoken, and written communication skills.
