Occupational Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with participants to assess their emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions and capacities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify areas of strength and need;
  • Developing tailored treatment plans to support participants in achieving their goals;
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote independence and well-being;
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support;
  • Identifying and recommending Assistive Technology solutions to support participants.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist;
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and openness to testing and learning new ideas;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
