Support Worker

We are seeking mature and self-motivated individuals to assist clients in their homes and community.

Mature and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Clear and fluent English communication skills are essential due to a hearing impairment.

Comfortable working in a home with cats.

Casual role starting with 5-10 hours per week, with potential for additional hours.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide support services to clients, including personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, social support, transport, mental health support, decision-making and budgeting assistance, and skill development.

Responsibilities may include:

Personal Care: Showering, bathroom assistance & grooming both male and female clients

Medication Monitoring: Training and certificate provided

Domestic Assistance: Light housework, shopping and light yard work

Meal Preparations: Assisting with cooking and meal planning

Social Support: Encouraging engagement at home and in the community

Transport: Driving clients to and from appointments

Mental Health Support: Assisting clients with emotional well-being

Decision-Making & Budgeting Assistance: Helping clients plan daily activities, budgets, and purchases

Skill Development: Supporting independence through life-skills training at home or in the community

Requirements include a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR Certification, and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
