Position Overview:

This is a NEW store opening.

As an Assistant Manager at Snooze Melton, you will be a driven individual with a passion for sales, focused on achieving goals and nurturing your team.

In this role, you will be expected to work across agreed weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a small team, providing supervision and coaching to team members
  • Collaborating with your team on daily store operations
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience

Previous sales experience is essential, along with a strong memory for information and a positive attitude; we can provide the necessary training. A natural interest in creating beautiful bedroom spaces for our customers is also beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a small team
  • Retail experience in selling high-value items is preferred but not mandatory
  • Outstanding customer service standards
  • Leadership abilities and the capacity to foster strong relationships with all team members
  • Proficient computer skills (experience with Pronto is a plus)
  • The drive to coach and motivate your team to achieve their best
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The physical capability to navigate the store throughout the day and safely handle heavy stock when necessary
