Youth Mental Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our team at headspace Emerald.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and adhere to youth-friendly practice principles.
- Monitor and conduct clinical assessments focused on young people at headspace Emerald and develop care plans based on their needs.
- Deliver evidence-based early/brief intervention therapy, including group interventions and problem solving with young people and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the young person and their families to develop individual treatment plans that are person-centred and directed by the young person as much as possible.
- Provide an inclusive practice that values the significance of family and friends in a young person's life.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Psi chi registered Psychologists or Social Workers holding an approved Social Work Qualification (Bachelor/Master of Social Work) with additional mental health training or endorsement.
- Occupational Therapists with full and current registration with AHPRA and additional mental health training or endorsement.
- Division 1 Mental Health Nurses with relevant experience or postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing.
