As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading impactful research, securing competitive grants, mentoring emerging scholars, and achieving excellence
- Inspiring through innovative teaching, shaping curricula, motivating students, and leading colleagues in best-practice learning and teaching
- Building and sustaining powerful partnerships locally, nationally, and globally, delivering meaningful outcomes for the University and community
- Leading with influence across the School and University, fostering a collegial, inclusive, and high-achieving academic culture
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field and comprehensive experience as an academic leader
- Registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Evidence of involvement in, and impact on, the development of their discipline/field
- A clear and coherent research program with a strong track record of active, sustained, and productive engagement in high-quality research, publicly verifiable outputs and outcomes from research, external recognition of research performance and achievement, quality supervision of candidates for Higher Degrees by Research, and impact of research
- Quality research leadership, including effective mentoring to develop the research capability and capacity of individual and teams of Early Career Researchers and Early Career Academics, leadership contributions that strengthen research capacity, capability, and culture, and service on national discipline panels, such ARC panels of experts, and other assessment panels
- Effectiveness as a teacher, evidenced by both exemplary teaching practice and leadership in teaching, ultimately leading to student engagement and success
