Job Title: Senior Technical Architect

Are you a passionate technologist ready to take on a pivotal role in a customer-obsessed technology business at the heart of Australia?

This is a hybrid role where you will flex your skills as a technologist, expert across MACH architecture as well as a solid high-level view on architecture patterns, for future vision and strategy with the ability to very much play across the two.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Leadership: Provide strategic architectural direction and drive innovation across the entire group.
  • Technical Excellence: Lead the design and delivery of large-scale distributed microservices on cloud platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, providing technical and people leadership.
  • Governance: Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose governance framework aligned with our broader architectural strategy.
  • Solution Architecture: Produce architectures that meet business requirements, ensuring consistency and interoperability across the enterprise.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven capability in designing large-scale E2E solutions and leading IT teams in a consumer-facing digital environment.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with the Microsoft tech stack (.Net, Node JS, JavaScript) and a solid working knowledge of engineering and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership: Strong facilitation skills for planning, design, and change management activities, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Superior problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.
