We're seeking a talented and driven Senior Payroll Specialist to join our growing team in Yatala, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process across multiple business units and various countries in the APAC region.

About the Role

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You'll manage fortnightly payrolls for APAC and monthly payrolls for Asian countries, maintain and update employee payroll databases, and address payroll-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll processing for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain and update employee payroll databases, ensuring precise record-keeping.
  • Leave & Compliance: Ensure payroll calculations align with Enterprise Agreements and leave policies.
  • Employee Support: Address payroll-related queries from employees, business partners, and finance teams.
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with outsourced payroll vendors (ADP experience preferred).
  • Payroll Reporting: Provide detailed payroll reports for stakeholders and assist with payroll account reconciliation.
  • New Hire Setup: Manage payroll documentation and system access for new employees.
  • Collaboration: Partner with international payroll teams, finance teams, and audit partners to ensure smooth operations.
