Empowering Movement in Healthcare

Join a leading healthcare company, Arjo, as a Service Technician in Townsville, Queensland. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our passionate Service Team and contribute to empowering movement for people facing mobility challenges.

As a Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and service experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and related third-party items for customers in the broader aged care and acute care environments. Your skills and positive attitude will empower movement for people facing mobility challenges and improve the quality of lives for our customer base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing maintenance, repairs, and testing of Arjo products and related third-party equipment
  • Conducting routine scheduled servicing and providing technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames
  • Providing accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in Arjo's service ERP system
  • Maintaining company vehicles in good condition and reporting spare parts stock accurately in Arjo's service ERP system
  • Ensuring the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy

Requirements for this role include:

  • Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude
  • 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within the Healthcare or a service related sector
  • Proven problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong time management and planning skills with an ability to meet company performance targets/KPIs
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service, being well-presented, confident, and exhibiting sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a range of healthcare environments
  • The ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions for mutual benefit
  • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools, and test/inspection equipment
  • Computer literacy and iPad use familiarity will be advantageous
  • The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment
  • A current QLD driver's licence (Class C) is essential
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and having a current influenza vaccination is required
