Disability Service Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our services in the Toowoomba region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding teams to assist clients according to their NDIS plans and goals, overseeing operations, team leadership, and management to motivate and navigate dedicated teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining knowledge of service offerings and implementing strategies to identify and maximise opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Leading, guiding, and supporting direct reports in the resolution of escalations and concerns from families/carers/advocates.
  • Developing and retaining a qualified workforce to ensure teams are committed to person-centric supports, social inclusion, and establishing a professional relationship with individuals.
  • Building the portfolio as a centre of excellence in the provision of disability accommodation services.
  • Encouraging innovative and integrated approaches to improving the quality of service and streamlining work processes.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of National Standards Disability Services and Quality & Safeguarding Framework, funding, and organisational structure.
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience successfully managing a diverse team.
  • Experience with successfully managing site-based services within a related industry, such as the Disability Sector.
  • Outstanding phone manner and ability to be contactable in emergency/crisis situations.
