About the RoleA Configuration Management Officer is required to ensure that program configuration and data management systems meet corporate, defence, and programme-specific requirements and practices.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects and develop skills in configuration management. The role involves collaborating with experienced professionals and contributing to organisational success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the configuration management plan for the project.
- Identify configuration items and define design architecture in the configuration status accounting system (CSAS).
- Verify design document releases and changes for completeness, proper authorisation, and classification.
- Update change and document records in CSAS to reflect change board decisions.
- Cert IV in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- A minimum of four years' experience in electronics or defence industry in either system design, manufacture, maintenance or testing; or configuration management/data management.
