This role involves overseeing the configuration of complex Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) and associated systems— including combat platforms, electronic systems, subsystems, and support equipment—throughout acquisition, modification, and sustainment phases.

  • Provide advice on Configuration Management (CM) for Armoured Fighting Vehicles and related Defence systems.
  • Develop and manage CM plans, tools, and processes aligned with Defence standards.
  • Maintain records for Configuration Items and support Change Control Boards.
  • Work closely with teams, contractors, and government to ensure compliance and system assurance.
  • Support engineering reviews, audits, and certification with accurate CM documentation.
  • Help improve CM systems and mentor junior staff.
About You

The ideal candidate will bring experience in Configuration Management within Defence or similar industries, knowledge of Defence CM standards, skilled with CM software like Teamcenter, Windchill, or IBM Rational, and ability to read and manage technical drawings and system specs.
