Job Title: Healthcare Professional
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a healthcare professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting pathology samples, specimens, blood/blood products, X-rays, and vaccines between medical centres, collection centres, nursing homes, hospitals, and veterinary surgeries.
- Pick up and deliver pathology samples, specimens, blood/blood products, X-rays, vaccines, and clinical waste to and from referring customers.
- Manage the storage and stock of supplies in community locations.
- Liaise with medical practitioners and our Medical Liaison Officer regarding store orders.
- Prepare and deliver reports and maintain stock control in the main laboratory.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and integrity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid open Australian driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- The ability to work various shifts, including rostered weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with different stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills to juggle up to 30 stops per day.
- Physical capability to handle equipment weighing regularly up to 10-15 kg.
- The ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions.
