Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Courier. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of pathology samples, specimens, blood/blood products, X-rays, and vaccines to laboratories in various locations.

  • Pick up and deliver pathology samples, specimens, blood/blood products, X-rays, vaccines, and clinical waste to and from referring customers.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Liaise between referring medical practitioners and our Medical Liaison Officer regarding store orders.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and integrity at all times.

This role requires a high level of organization, time management skills, and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with different stakeholders. You must also possess a valid open Australian driver's license and have an excellent driving record.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid open Australian driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with different stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills to prepare accurate documentation.
  • Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple stops per day.
  • Physical capability to handle equipment weighing regularly up to 10–15 kg.
  • The ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions.
