About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Waste and Collection Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out bin collections on scheduled routes, operating plant and heavy vehicles, inspecting and directing waste at transfer stations and gatehouses, supporting customers with waste disposal and recycling, maintaining clean, safe, and compliant waste sites and equipment, and performing preventative maintenance and daily checks on machinery.

About the Position

The Waste and Collection Operative will work various shifts, including 5:30 am to 2:30 pm and 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, every second weekend at both Busselton and Dunsborough facilities. Our team enjoys a 9-day fortnight and 5 weeks of annual leave.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience operating trucks or heavy machinery (waste experience is a bonus)
  • A current HR driver's license (HC preferred or willing to obtain)
  • A current loader ticket (or willing to obtain)
  • Ability to work early starts, weekends, or public holidays as required
