Job Title: Airport Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Ambassador to join our team at AccorHotel. As an Airport Ambassador, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet guests at the kerbside and assist with their luggage to the check-in suite
  • Regularly check the foyer, clean the curbside (if required), and maintain the Premium Check-in Suite to the highest standards
  • Meet and greet all guests as they arrive and depart the First Class Lounges
  • Ensure guests are entering the correct lounges with their boarding passes
  • Assist with repetitive heavy lifting of passenger luggage
  • Ensure guests are dressed to an appropriate standard in the lounges
  • Hand over VIPs to other departments and provide additional relevant information or requests to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Explain airport and lounge facilities to guests and answer any questions, including applicable flight information
  • Occasionally assist with Qantas Hosts/F&B Departments
  • Ensure, apply, and respect grooming, performance, and conduct standards at all times
  • Assist with any additional duties required by management/Qantas
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable grooming and professional appearance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects
  • Able to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in the restricted areas associated with the airport
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
