About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stewarding Supervisor to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in all areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of Stewards to ensure efficient clean-up processes and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist the Stewarding Manager in ensuring the quality, consistency, and production of food in all areas of responsibility.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures, reporting maintenance issues and ensuring proper storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Passion for the industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Working rights in Australia and a valid visa.
  • Enthusiasm to escalate your career and take on new challenges.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment.
